The name ApexChat implies that we are primarily a chat company, which is no longer true. Now we have many offerings, such as call center services, AI, Appointment setting, SMS Enablement, Market Automation, and Sales acceleration (Q2 2024), that go beyond chat. The new name will not only allow us to convey the breadth of our offering but will also better convey our company’s mission and values.

What is the process for accessing the leads section on the mobile app?
To find new leads on the mobile app, navigate to the section under existing leads area. A new lead will be indicated by a tag that displays "opt-in."
What happens if a user tapped on an opt-in lead item?
It will take you to a page with more information about the lead. On this page, there is a button that says "Message Now". Press this button, and it will let you start a conversation with the lead so that you can communicate to them.
How can I view an existing conversation?
If you have already started a chat, you will see a button that says "View Conversation". Clicking on this button will take you to the message.
How do I start a conversation via SMS?
When you send a message you will get a notification saying that the message has been added to your chats or messaging tab.
How do I send and receive messages using the messaging tab?
For people using the default settings, we added a messaging tab. This tab lets you send and receive messages for opt-in SMS chats only. Operators can access both regular and opt-in SMS chats using the same messaging tab.
What does the info button do?
When you are in a chat with someone, you will see a button that says "Info". Click on it and it will take you to a page where you can find out more information.
On this page, you can see all the information and notes about a chat. You can also press the "Share" button if you want to show someone else in the team the chat.
How will I know when a new opt-in lead is created?
When someone signs up to be a lead, you will get an email about it. You will also get an email if someone responds to your chat message. The emails will have a button that you can click which will take you to the mobile app.
