Google Tag Manager Setup

Step 1

Set up two new variables:

The highlighted value above should contain the domain of the chat window.

Edit the Universal Analytics Page View Tag, under “More Settings > Fields to Set. Here you will add 2 fields:

Under “More Settings > Cross Domain Tracking

Google Analytics Setup:

Click Admin.
In the ACCOUNTcolumn, use the dropdown to select the Analytics account that contains the property you want to work with.
In the PROPERTYcolumn, use the dropdown to select a property.
Click Tracking Info.
Click Referral Exclusion List.
Add this domain: sellwithchat.com
Click Create to save.

The highlighted portion above should have the domain of the chat window.
